A TEENAGER who is accused of carrying out two robberies and being armed with a knife in a children's play park has been released on bail by a judge.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of stealing a push scooter and phone in one of the alleged muggings in Shaw on Saturday August 24.
And in the other, on the same day, he is said to have taken another mobile from a young victim.
He is also said to have had the bladed article in the play area off Angus Close at the same time and intimidated a witness a few days later.
No charges were formally put to the boy and he did not enter any pleas during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Douglas Fled adjourned the case to Friday January 3 and released the defendant on conditional bail until then.
