POLICE have released their second e-fit of the week as they step up their investigation into two sexual assaults committed in Swindon which remain unsolved.

Wiltshire Police has created an impression of who they believe to be the man at the centre of an assault which took place inside a dark coloured saloon car in Victoria Road in the early hours of Saturday, August 17.

The female victim to the assault got into the car by an alleyway which leads off of the Old Town street. It was then she was subjected to an assault by a man described as mixed race.

After the incident, the woman walked up the hill to Wood Street, where a member of the public contacted Wiltshire Police.

Meanwhile there are not currently any new leads following the release of an e-fit for another man connected to an assault and sexual assault which took place between 2.15am and 2.30am on Friday, November 1.

Police released an e-fit of the man they are looking for on Monday, following the double attack in an alleyway off Cambria Bridge Road.

A man and a woman were walking along Cambria Bridge Road when they were grabbed from behind by a male who then forced them into an alleyway.

The suspect then punched the male victim in the head several times, causing him to fall to the ground.

The suspect then forced the female victim to perform a sex act on him.

The male victim managed to flag down a passing car and the suspect then ran off.

The suspect is described as a white male, with short brown hair, no facial hair and of a medium build. It is thought he is aged between 20-30 years old, and is between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 11ins in height. He possibly had a local accent but there was nothing distinctive about his voice.

He was wearing a dark, long sleeved, green camouflage coat – which was baggy and zipped up the front; blue jeans with possibly a brown leather belt with a gold buckle and old, worn looking trainers.

Anyone with information on both of these cases is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
