TWO men who stole a car when they burgled a house in Lower Blunsdon have been told to expect jail terms.

Daniel Dent and Damien Lynch even made off with CCTV equipment in the raid on the large detached property in the summer.

Lynch, 30, also admitted using a bank card which had been taken during the break in, which took place between August 24 and 26.

He and Dent, 24, both pleaded guilty to a charge of burglary when they appeared at Swindon Crown Court.

Lynch also admitted fraud relating to the card.

Adjourning the case for reports, Judge Tim Mousley QC, said: “You have pleaded guilty to serious offences which will inevitably lead to immediate custodial sentences.”

He remanded Dent, of Oakham Close, Toothill, and Lynch, of Culvery Court, Harding Street, in custody until Friday January 17.
