HUNDREDS of staff at Zurich have carried out festive challenges for lgroups and charities in Swindon across the festive period.
Nearly 40 projects took place across the area, including making up 200 bags of reindeer food for the Wiltshire Blind Association to sell to raise money, making Christmas decorations with patients in the children’s ward at the Great Western Hospital, putting up Christmas decorations at Brimble Hill School, collecting food for the Swindon Foodbank, and providing 30 Christmas hampers for Age UK.
Steve Grimmett, UK Employee Involvement Manager, Zurich Community Trust, said: “As always Zurich employees have risen to the challenge and dedicated their own time to help bring a little Christmas spirit to those less fortunate.
“In what has been the 40th anniversary year of Zurich’s Community Trust, this is a heart-warming way to round off what has been an amazing year.”
