PEOPLE most at risk of flu are being urged to get vaccinated this winter.
The virus can be more severe in people such as over-65s, pregnant women, children and adults with an underlying health condition, particularly long-term heart or respiratory disease, and people with weakened immune systems.
The jab is available on the NHS to those in these groups as they are more likely to develop potentially serious complications, such as pneumonia.
