A NEW website featuring a wealth of information about Community Transport services across Wiltshire and Swindon has recently been launched by local community development charity, Community First.
The website helps peolple find out more about the community minibuses, Link schemes and Shopmobility services in their area.
It also provides information about transport to local health facilities; Wiltshire-based ‘green’ transport schemes and local bus and rail services.
It also includes in-depth information about services run by community minibus schemes in Wiltshire and Swindon including details about who can be carried by these services; which areas bookings can be accepted from, how much services cost and when they operate.
The group hopes the site will help to improve access to services and facilities.
A spokesman said: “Small changes may be made to the website over the coming weeks and months in response to feedback that is received about the site from the general public and community transport groups.”
