DIABETES sufferer Jack Sherman, 12, is distraught after losing a device that manages his insulin intake.
The Swindon youngster lost the hi-tech meter somewhere between Covingham shops and Oakley Park on Thursday.
His mother, Debbie Dee, said the digital Accu-Chek Combo device was vital to monitor Jack’s blood sugars and deliver the insulin he needs to stay healthy.
She said: “It was in a black carry case. If someone has found it, they probably just don’t know what to do with it.
“We would be so grateful if they could return it to us, Jack was very upset when he realised it was missing.”
