POLICE in Swindon are appealing for information and witnesses after a young female was inappropriately touched after stepping off a bus at the weekend.
The 16-year-old disembarked the No 17 bus, which she had taken from Penhill, and was walking along Cricklade Road towards Headlands Grove between 7pm and 8pm on Saturday, February 8.
Whilst walking a man approached her from behind and pulled the hood of her body warmer. As she turned to face the man he placed his hand between her legs - over her clothing - before walking away.
The man is described as Asian with a deep voice and around 5’5 tall. He was wearing a black scarf which half covered his face, a black beanie hat with stitching on, a black Umbro puffa jacket with orange around the cuffs and black tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
