A FREE course for any registered nurse wishing to return to the acute or community care setting is being held at the Great Western Hospital.

The new course is designed to enable nurses who have been out of an acute or community care environment to regain their skills and confidence in order to move back into the acute or community nursing sector.

The course runs over 14 weeks with alternating weeks of theory and clinical placement. You will also need to attend a course selection event on April 11 and Trust Induction on May 19 and 20.

During your clinical placement you will work fully supported alongside a mentor to refresh your practice and to gain confidence.

On completion of the course, you will be given the support to apply for relevant nursing posts throughout the GWH NHS Foundation trust.

To access this course you must have current, relevant NMC active registration.
