Traffic police are keen to speak to drivers who witnessed a car that flipped on the A4361 yesterday, leaving the driver fighting for his life.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the A4361 near Swindon yesterday.
At approximately 1.41pm a single vehicle road traffic collision occurred on the A4361 Winterbourne Bassett, Bowman’s Wood, near Swindon.
The car involved was a silver Ford Ka cabriolet which had been travelling south along the A4361 towards Winterbourne Bassett from Broad Hinton.
The driver of the Ford Ka, a 40-year-old man from Swindon, suffered serious chest injuries and was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or events immediately prior to the collision, and haven’t already made contact with Wiltshire Police, should do so immediately.
