PROSPECT Hospice is calling on anyone who wants to be in with the chance of winning a £3,000 prize to visit one of its 18 shops and enter its spring raffle.

The fundraiser, which has been running since last month, closes on Thursday, March 27, and the lucky winner’s ticket will be drawn at random on April 9.

The raffle is expected to raise about £35,000 for the Wroughton-based hospice and costs just £1. Participants who miss out on the grand prize will still have the opportuntiy to win £1,000, £500 or £50.

“This is a great chance to win a cash prize just before Easter,” said organiser Sarah Bedry.

“But we would urge anyone who wants to take part to get along to their nearest shop before we close the draw on Thursday, or they miss out on the chance of a prize.”

She said: “Raffles and draws are a really important way for us to raise the funds we need to give our care, without charge, to hundreds of patients each year.

“By taking part, you can really make a difference.”
