Rebecca Ferguson has been announced as the final headline act for this summer’s Forest Live gig series at Westonbirt Arboretum.
Ferguson is regarded as the most naturally talented singer to emerge from The X Factor TV series.
Her million selling debut album ‘Heaven’ launched her in a blaze of critical acclaim in 2011. The album went on to become double platinum in the UK and generated hit singles ‘Nothing’s Real But Love’ and ‘Teach Me How To Be Loved’.
Forest Live is an independent programme of concerts organised by the Forestry Commission, bringing music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship.
Income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving the local forests for both people and wildlife. With everything required for a great night out, including full catering and bar facilities, the concerts are renowned for their relaxed atmosphere.
Other acts include Boyzone, who will be joined on stage by Westlife's Kian Egan.
Rebecca Ferguson plus guests will be performing on Sunday 22 June at Westonbirt Arboretum, near Tetbury, in Gloucestershire.
Tickets £36.30 (including booking fee) go on sale at 9am on Friday, April 4 from the Forestry Commission box office tel 03000 680400 or buy online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music.
