THE Swindon Priority Crime Team are appealing for information regarding an attempted robbery which occurred in the area of Chervil Close, Swindon.
At approximately 10pm on Friday March 28, an 18-year-old local man was walking along the footpath leading from Chervil Close towards Mallow Close. He was approached by a man with a knife, he kicked out at the man and was able to run away to safety. Fortunately he was not injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as white, 5'10 tall, aged in his late teens to early twenties. He was wearing a grey/blue hooded top and similiar tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone who has information regarding the identity of the suspect or was in the area at the time is asked to contact DC Claire Smith at the Swindon Priority Crime Team on 101.
