POLICE in Swindon are appealing for information after more properties and a car had swastikas spray painted on them overnight.

In total reports of three homes and a car in the Corsham Road, Fyfield Avenue and Pewsham Road area of Penhill were targeted around 3.45am this morning, Tuesday, April 8. Similar incidents were reported in the same area in January.

At this stage there is no evidence to link these incidents with those reported over the weekend in Walcot.

CCTV in the area has identified a person that officers would like to speak to in connection with the incidents last night.

He is described as white, tall and thin with collar length hair and was wearing a beanie style hat, dark leather jacket, dark trousers, boots and a back pack. It is believed the man may have links in the Penhill area.

West Swindon Neighbourhood Policing Sergeant Pete Foster said: “This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and I would encourage anyone who knows who has done this or has any information about the damage caused to contact the Community Beat Manager for Penhill PC Lloyd Griffiths on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
