BUDDING golfers were on the hunt for Easter eggs rather than missing golf balls during a family weekend at Broome Manor Golf Complex.
The Swindon Council-run golf course hosted an Easter Open Weekend from Good Friday to Easter Sunday as a way of introducing more people to the sport.
The weekend teed off with an Easter egg hunt on the Friday where children had the chance to search the course for hidden treats.

There was also an Easter colouring competition over the weekend, which saw scores of people attend between 10am until 4pm each day For those looking to try out their swing, free taster sessions for all the family were on offer, while putting and chipping competitions were held on all three days and there was a barbecue on Easter Friday.
Lee Hayward, Broome Manor’s PGA golf professional, was on hand to help coach those who fancied a go at golf.
He said: “The Easter Open Weekend was a great opportunity for families to come along and see what Broome Manor has to offer.
“There was be plenty going on for children, including our Easter egg hunt on the Friday, and parents took advantage of some of the free taster sessions on offer.”
