WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a bus in Swindon.

The incident took place at 10.27pm on March 14 while the Stagecoach bus was travelling along Rodbourne Road.

CCTV on the bus shows a man grab another man around the throat and punch him several times to the head.

The victim then falls to the floor.

The victim then got off the bus at the bus stops at the Outlet Village.

Police have identified the suspect in this incident but would like to speak with the victim.

The victim is described as having dark hair and wearing a dark blue suit jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
