A STREET in Swindon has been found to have the second fastest broadband speed in the country after a survey of more than two million connection speeds nationwide.
The study, conducted by USwitch.com, discovered Spencer Close, in The Prinnels, gets an average speed of more than 50mbps, only beaten by a street in Derbyshire.
In contrast, the average speed across the country is around 17.8mbps, leaving Spencer Close with a connection three times faster than most. Only 15 per cent of people in the country achieve speeds of more than 30mbps, which is classed as superfast.
