WILTSHIRE Police is appealing for transferee officers to join its ranks from other Home Office forces.
Any transferred constables would be based across the force’s sites in Wiltshire and within specialist units.
The force has put out a special plea for officers with experience of working within the public protection arena.
Interviews are to be held at Wiltshire Police HQ, Devizes during the week commencing May 19. The start date for the intake is mid-August and no leave can be taken during the two week induction course.
Response teams parade from four hubs, namely Swindon, Salisbury, Trowbridge and Chippenham. The force has 27 neighbourhood policing teams, working with partner agencies.
As part of the recruitment process candidates will be expected to successfully complete each of the following stages: application form and paper sift, a competency based panel interview, vetting, financial checks, fitness test, medical assessment, media checks, references and drug tests.
Wiltshire Police requires all transferees are from Home Office forces and passed probation. Re-joiners must have worked for a Home Office force within the last five years.
