WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage in Swindon on Monday.

At 12.55pm on Ermin Street, Stratton, an unknown male stepped out in front of a Ford Focus and began shouting before punching the car's windscreen causing it to crack.

The male - who was unknown to the victim - then proceeded to walk off in the direction of Kingsdown Road.

The male is described as white, between 45-50 years of age, of large stocky build with short greying hair.
