Police hunt for Covingham robbers

POLICE are hunting two men following a robbery on Covingham Drive in the early hours of yesterday.

At 12.45am a man was talking with his girlfriend when he was attacked by two men who took his mobile phone. As the robbers made their escape one of the men hit his head on a lamppost and fell over.

The collision made a loud sound so police believe one of the suspects may have a large bruise on his head. Both men are in their 20s with the first having a shaved head and broad shoulders while the second is described as scrawny.
