CUSTOMER support group Jaywing is inviting people to apply for the 50 jobs it has created as the result of a new five-year contract with a national parcel service.

The contact centre, based at Arclite House in Peatmoor, has nailed down the contract with CollectPlus, the largest store-based parcel service in the UK.

The new jobs will take staff numbers at Jaywing’s base to more than 300 – double that of 18 months ago.

Martin Boddy, CEO at Jaywing said: “We have already filled a number of roles and are looking for more team leaders and customer support executives right now, to start at the end of June.

“We’d love to hear from anyone interested in working at Jaywing who thinks they’ve got what it takes to be the public face of CollectPlus.”

Jaywing will run CollectPlus’s customer support centre. The centre will handle inquiries ranging from general information requests regarding the CollectPlus service from new and existing customers to more complex inquiries.

The firm said all communication will be by phone and email initially, although over time this will be extended to include other contact channels.
