STAGECOACH Swindon’s Further Stages students aged 15 to 18 years old will be performing at Swindon’s Arts Centre on Monday.

There will be a special guest performance by ex-student Pearce Barron, who attended Stagecoach Swindon for nine years, leaving aged 13 to attend full-time performing arts training at The Sylvia Young Theatre School, in London.

The show will also feature Stagecoach Swindon’s Performance Troupe, which was formed in 2008 when they were invited to perform at Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre in That 70s Show.

It is currently made up of 18 of their most talented young people aged 12 to 17 from their Saturday schools.

The troupe have since performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, home of Phantom of The Opera, three times in 2009, 2011 and 2013. They have also reached the finals of the National Festival for Stars competition and Swindon’s Got Talent.

The showcase will feature a variety of song, dance and drama, solos and group numbers, covering classics such as Moon River to current hits like Human by Christina Perri.
