POLICE are appealing for information about a series of fuel thefts from Sainsbury’s in Oxford Road.

The suspect is believed to have stolen a total of £300 worth of fuel during three separate incidents at the petrol station, where the driver is using fake registration plates.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his late 40s or early 50s and of large build.

He was wearing a bobble hat, dark top and jeans.

The suspect is believed to have used two different vehicles – the first car is described as a blue BMW and the second is a red Audi.

It is believed that false registration plates have been used.
