A MAN who is accused of assaulting his mum in breach of a restraining order has been remanded in custody by a judge.
Mark Stiggers is also said to have stolen a mobile phone from her in an alleged incident on Tuesday July 1.
The 24-year-old, of Morris Street, Rodbourne, is accused of theft, common assault and breaching a restraining order.
No charges were formally put to him and he did not enter any pleas during a brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to Friday October 3 and remanded him in custody until then.
