FIRST-TIME author Ellen Watts is celebrating after being crowned Author of the Year at the Women Inspiring Women Awards.

Ellen, 49, who lives in Blunsdon, received a crystal trophy at a ceremony held in Birmingham. She beat off competition from 600 other nominees, winning the category after being backed in a public vote.

Her book Cosmic Ordering Made Easier was released last February. Ellen said that cosmic ordering is the active role a person takes in asking the universe for what they want and taking positives steps to make it happen.

Ellen, who has run ElleRich Training Ltd with her husband Richard, 48, for 18 years, said: “It was a fantastic feeling to win the award and I’m so glad as I really wanted to say to people that I’m an award-winning author and now I can. People have asked me whether I used cosmic ordering to win and the truth is I did a little bit.

“I have been cosmic ordering for many years and I tried to keep it under wraps as I didn’t want people to think I was away with the fairies. Then two years ago I let it all out. I have been blown away by the response to the book and I’m so glad it has been taken seriously.”

Ellen wrote Cosmic Ordering Made Easier in a week at Blunsdon House Hotel. The first part of the book deals with the effect cosmic ordering has had on Ellen’s life while the second half coaches the reader to embrace the concept.

The author has brought cosmic ordering into some of her training workshops which specialise in customer service and sales.

Ellen is currently writing cosmic ordering e-books and is also working on her second book which is titled Get Over Yourself.

Following her success in the Women Inspiring Women competition, the writer has been booked to be a speaker at the Mind Body Soul Show taking place at London Olympia between October 24 and 26.
