A man who was involved in peddling hard drugs across town has been released on bail by a judge.

Paul Williams pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.

The 33-year-old, of Booth House, Spring Gardens, admitted being involved in the supply of the class A drugs between May and November last year.

But the court heard that he would have to wait until the cases of six other people were resolved before he could face sentence for the offence.

The other defendants, three from Swindon and three from Birmingham, are due to enter pleas next month. The Swindon three are Farid Ali, 38, of Culvery Court, and Christina Morgan, 22, and Jason Smith, 28, who live together in Union Street, Old Town. The others are Nattisha Bailey, 31, Kemiah Fox, 29, and Paul Smith, 38.
