HAVE you got what it takes to become a Special Constable?

Special Constables have the same powers as regular officers and get involved in all areas of policing, from Neighbourhood priorities and events, conducting raids and warrants to attending road traffic accidents, and dealing with violent scenes.

A commitment of 16 hours (minimum) per month is required and although unpaid there are massive benefits at a personal and professional level.

If you would like to find out more head along to the Wiltshire Police Special Constabulary awareness evening on Wednesday 12th November at Police Headquarters in Devizes from 7pm until 9pm.

Currently serving Special Constables will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

If you would like to attend register your interest by emailing your name and contact telephone number to SpecialsCoordinator@wiltshire.pnn.police.uk
