A man who is accused of carrying out a sex assault in Purton has been released on bail by a judge.
Daniel Smith, 34, is said to have sexually assaulted a female in the village on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.
No charge was formally put to the defendant, of Witney, Oxfordshire, and he did not enter a plea during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Judge Peter Blair QC adjourned the case to January 16 and released him on bail until then.
