A CHARITY concert featuring a Swindon choir has raised more than £4,000 to fight prostate cancer.
Swindon Male Voice Choir performed at Winchester Cathedral on November 15, as did choirs from Croydon, Hart, Pontnewydd and Romsey.
The concert attracted more than 800 people and was hosted by cricket broadcaster and former England captain David Gower.
The event raised more than £4,000 for Prostate Cancer UK, with each choir performing individual pieces from their repertoire and several joint items.
The concert concluded with American Trilogy and, following a standing ovation, an encore of You’ll Never Walk Alone.
