SWINDON children’s centres held a celebration of good times ahead of their closure.
In April, the Children’s Society will cease to provide facilities at Croft, Eldene, Robert Le Kyng and Salt Way Children’s Centres.
And to mark their history, parents and youngsters were invited to a farewell party. There were activities for the children and opportunities to catch up with old friends and colleagues.
Centre leader Kay Kane said: “We wanted to do something to celebrate all the hard work we have done over the years since we have run the centres.”
Swindon Council is closing seven children’s centres as part of cost-cutting measures.
