A man who admitted carrying out a serious assault last summer has been released on bail by a judge.
James Lyon pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful wounding when he appeared before at Swindon Crown Court.
The 20-year-old, of Clapham Close, Moredon, admitted assaulting a man on Sunday, August 17.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case until February 13, for a pre-sentence report and released him on bail until then.
