POLICE stopped a disqualified driver travelling on Beech Avenue, Swindon, at 6am on Thursday.
The 28-year-old man from the Pinehurst area has been disqualified by the courts until later this year and therefore is also not insured to drive.
His white Transit van was seized and he will appear in court for these new offences.
Driving whilst disqualified can be punished with up to six months’ imprisonment and driving without insurance is a mandatory six points and £300 fine.
