POLICE are appealing for information after a purse was stolen from the Boswells cafe in the Brunel Centre.

A man and a woman were having a drink in the cafe on Thursday, February 12, when they noticed two girls acting suspiciously directly behind them and who then made a hasty exit.

When the couple also left the cafe, the woman noticed her purse was missing.

One of the girls is described as white, in her late teens, approximately 5 ft 6 inches tall with mid-length light brown hair worn in loose curls.

She had a pale complexion and was wearing a khaki coloured, mid-length jacket with fur around the neck.

Police have issued a CCTV image of two girls they would like to speak with in connection with the incident.

Anyone with information should call PC Keith Larkworthy of the Crime Management Unit, on 101.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
