HEAVY traffic is causing some small delays on Great Western Way, Swindon, while elsewhere, the roads are moving well.
On the trains, First Great Western services through Swindon towards London have been experiencing slight delays after an earlier journey was late due to a suspected fault on a carriage.
SWINDON is expected to stay dry for the main part today, according to Met Office forecasters, with some bright spells.
However, the east of the county could see some showers and cloud will return later in the day.
The forecaster said: "Feeling colder, especially in the wet conditions."
Temperatures could reach 9C, he said, dropping to freezing overnight.
Saturday will be cloudy but generally dry, he added.
"Some bright or sunny spells are likely, especially towards the west coast. Feeling rather cold, particularly under the cloud cover."
