SWINDON Advertiser's Bride of the Year's wedding plans are blooming.
Kelly Yates spent Saturday afternoon with staff at the George Lesley florist in Swindon.
The shop is providing 23-year-old Kelly, of Haydon Wick, with £250 worth of flowers for her big day.
Kelly has chosen white and cerise flowers to match the bridesmaids' dresses.
"I don't know anything about flowers," she said. "I don't have a clue. I left it all up to Heather at the florist to decide.
"There will be orchids in my bouquet and roses for the bridesmaids."
Heather Groves, owner of George Lesley Florist, said: "She is such a petite little thing so we have kept that in mind.
"The flowers will tone in beautifully with the dress and will be part of the whole picture.
"We haven't done anything outrageous."
As part of the package George Lesley are providing flowers for the bridesmaids and button holes for the men as well as corsages for the mums.
"The flowers that Kelly has chosen are quite traditional," said Heather.
"They are delicate to tone into the material of the dress.
"They also reflect Kelly's personality."
The flowers were Kelly's choice but she thinks that her fiancé Paul Winley, 26, will like them.
"He has orchids the same as me for his buttonhole so we will match.
"I'm a bit nervous about the wedding but as long as Paul turns up it will be fine.
"I think Paul is more excited, I'm more scared."
