A 51-YEAR-old man whose wife died in hospital after a motorway crash is set to go on trial accused of her murder.
Ian Walters was seriously injured when a Mitsubishi 4x4 left the southbound carriageway of the M1 in Leicestershire on March 21 last year.
His wife Tracy died two days after the crash, which happened near the village of Markfield.
Walters, of Tregantle Walk, Swindon, denies murder and will today face a jury trial before Judge Nicholas Dean at Leicester Crown Court.
