WE’VE always know they are a caring lot at Dorcan School, and these two photographs taken by the Adver in 1995 prove the point.
We went along in July that year, when pupils made their own mobiles for the hospitals special care baby unit. In the picture on the left are Martin Riley and Abi Fisher at the back, and in the front are Clare Matthews, Aimi Jervis, Janine Fordham and Ann Timms.
At Christmas the school filled boxes with food for the charity Crisis At Christmas. Pictured on the right are Karl Price, Gemma Francis, Shirley Fry from the charity, Kimberley Spencer, Ashley Bowes, Lindsay Crowe and Richard Plummer
