Wiltshire Police are renewing their appeal for information after a report that three girls were followed by a man between Shaftesbury Avenue and Eldene Drive.

The girls were apparently followed on Tuesday, March 17, at about 6.30pm between Shaftesbury Avenue and Eldene Drive.

The young girls, aged 11, were walking along the pathway between the above locations when they noticed that a man was following them. He then beckoned to them.

Following the incident, police increased patrols in the area at the beginning and end of the school day.

The man police want to speak to is described as black, of medium build, approximately 5ft 8ins.

He had a gaunt face and was wearing a grey hoody with a black Umbro logo, black trousers with paint on them and dirty white trainers.

Enquiries are continuing and police are keen to hear from anybody who may recognise the man pictured.
