THE Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust is appealing to cyclists as the charity have two places available for the Prudential London to Surrey 100 bike ride.
The home security charity is look to raise funds from the event on August 2, which goes from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 100-mile route through the capital into the Surrey countryside.
The ride finishes on The Mall in central London, before 150 professional cyclists race on a similar route.
Emma Cann, of The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, said: “With leg testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s best cyclists in London 2012, it's a truly spectacular event for all involved.
“I have decided to give it a go too but we are looking for two other riders to help raise money for this great charity.”
The Trust, which is based out of Devizes Police Station, provides a home security service for elderly, vulnerable and disadvantaged people throughout Wiltshire.
It receives only a small amount of government funding and relies upon fundraising, sponsorship and donations to provide its practical and vital community service.
