ADAPTED from Peter James’s bestselling thriller, Dead Simple promises to leave audience on the edge of their seats at the Wyvern Theatre next week.

As the gritty play opens, Michael Harrison a man who has it all – a great career, good friends and a beautiful fiancée – is about to celebrate his last night of freedom in style.

But when his stag night prank goes horribly wrong, Michael finds himself trapped in a coffin and staring death in the face.

As time runs out and the terror grows, Detective Superintendent Roy Grace tries to solve his mysterious disappearance, but begins to fear that he will never be found in time.

Olivier Award winner Ian Talbot directs the all-star cast including Holby City’s Tina Hobley, Eastenders’ Jamie Lomas, Rik Makarem, best known for starring in Emmerdale and Michael McKell of Doctors’ fame.

Gray O’Brien, the award-winning star of Coronation Street will take on the role of Detective Roy Grace.

Dead Simple will run at the Wyvern Theatre from Monday, April 20 to Saturday 25. A special audio-described performance will be held on Thursday 23.
