POLICE are appealing for information after a member of staff was assaulted in a town centre pizza shop.
A man described as white, aged in his early 20s, tall and slim, wearing a red and white T-shirt, went into Pizza Go Go in Faringdon Road and became abusive towards customers and staff on Friday, April 10, at about 10.30pm.
It is believed he then punched a member of staff inside the store, causing bruising and swelling to the victim's eye.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anybody who was in the area at the time of the assault to contact them.
