Swindon Business Show 2015 - the region's biggest exhibition for anyone who's starting or growing a business - takes place today.

Last year more than 1,000 visitors and over 80 exhibitors were welcomed and this year's show, at the Steam museum in Firefly Avenue, will be even bigger and better.

It is described as the ideal opportunity to network with local influential businesses, meet new suppliers and customers all under one roof, runs from 9am to 4pm and is free to attend.

Key highlights of this year’s show include inspirational keynote speaker TV presenter and leadership expert Monty Halls, a former Royal Marines officer.

There is an International Trade Zone and a range of informative seminars aimed at helping businesses to grow.

New for this year is a Click and Connect Lounge, which is the perfect place for visitors to talk to digital experts, relax, network, blog, tweet, hold informal meetings and even charge their devices, all over a refreshing complimentary drink.

The lounge will also feature a drop-in business advice area with specialist business growth experts, who'll be able to advise on what support is available in the region and the best business solutions that can help and grow Swindon SMEs.

Ian Larrard, director of the initiative in Swindon and Wiltshire, part of Business West said: “We are delighted with the line-up for this year’s show. Monty Halls has had a fascinating career and can provide expert advice to any business owner.

“The seminars will ensure that all attendees can benefit from topical information on recruitment, social media and web development which can be applied in every day business.

“The show creates great opportunities for local businesses, as well as providing important insights and ideas on how to achieve and sustain growth in 2015 and beyond. “
