This includes contributing to clearer thinking, improved decision making, greater concentration, enhanced creativity and problem solving, and improved resilience and reduced stress. The session also highlights how mindfulness can be applied in everyday living.

Guest speaker is Byron Lee who is a leadership trainer, coach and mindfulness teacher. Byron has spent the past 25 years working in the field of personal development and workplace wellbeing. T

It’s a great opportunity for local businesses to experience first-hand this simple yet immensely effective practice available to anyone who wants to deal more skilfully with the stresses and strains of daily living and to find ways of promoting well-being and finding greater happiness. But that’s not all. There is mounting scientific evidence of the business benefits too. For example increased mindfulness has been shown to lead to less stress and greater resilience; it has been linked to increased clarity and concentration; enhanced creativity and problem solving; and improved decision making.”

Melanie Richens, who is Chair of the Swindon Mindful Employer Network says: “We are pleased that Byron has found time in a busy schedule to join us. He has considerable experience of supporting employers throughout the UK and as a result many employees have benefited from building a resilient, mentally healthy mindset to tackle workplace pressures.
