THE organisers of the Larmer Tree Festival have paid a visit to their charity partner Julia’s House Hospice.
The event, celebrating its 25th anniversary, was due to run between July 14 and 19 at Larmer Tree Gardens, in Salisbury.
Festival director Julia Safe visited the centre, in Dorset, with the event’s manager Lucy Babb to learn about the work the organisation does.
Lucy said: “It was great to visit the hospice and understand exactly how our festival-goers donations will support this fantastic local charity.
“The hospice is an incredible place, warm and welcoming, and you can understand why it really makes a difference to families’ lives, which is why we’re encouraging Larmer Tree festival-goers to donate when they buy tickets and get involved on site at the festival in July.”
This year’s festival will be headlined by singer Sir Tom Jones, comedian Bill Bailey and band The Magic Numbers.
