AFTER more than a decade of sell-out seasons at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Paul Merton is hitting the road again with his Impro Chums.

As per their winning formula, Paul and his Chums - Mike McShane, Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Suki Webster - will take suggestion from the audience and spin them into comedy gold, weaving fun and laughter together into a hilarious mesh of jollity when they come to the Wyvern on Sunday.

Paul Merton is a founding member of The Comedy Store Players and he still appears at the Store most Sundays. He is a regular guest on Radio 4’s Just A Minute and is a panellist on Have I Got News For You. His recent Autobiography, Only When I Laugh reached the Sunday Times bestseller Top 10.

Mike McShane has appeared at the Menier Chocolate Factory in Little Shop of Horrors and Stephen Sondheims' Assassins and his TV work includes Doctor Who, and the new M. Night Shyamalan joint, Wayward Pines.

Lee Simpson became a member of the Comedy Store Players in 1989. He is Artistic Director of Improbable, one of the country's foremost theatre companies and along with Richard Vranch he wrote and performed on Paul Merton – The Tour and Paul Merton – The Palladium, he also directed Paul Merton – And This is Me.

Richard Vranch has appeared on Radio 4's Infinite Monkey Cage with Professor Brian Cox, and he is half of the science/hula-hoop act Dr Hula. He's toured the world from Mexico to Palestine acting in sketch shows, and he does stand-up in French.

Suki Webster is a regular guest of The Comedy Store Players. Her play My Obsession, which she wrote and starred in garnered audience and critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014.

The show will start at 8pm on Sunday, May 31. Tickets are £22. To book call 01793 524 481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk.
