A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after a crash yesterday afternoon.
The incident happened at just after 5.30pm outside the Manor Garden Centre, in Cheney Manor, police said.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said it was believed the rider of the motorbike suffered a fractured collar bone in the crash.
“Wiltshire Police were called at 5.38pm on May 27 following a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcyclist outside the garden centre in Cheney Manor,” he said.
“Swindon Council were also called to the scene due to engine fluid spillage on the carriageway.”
He said the vehicles involved were a blue Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle, and a blue Citroen Xsara Picasso car.
“The motorcyclist is believed to have suffered a broken collar bone,” the spokesman added.
“He was taken to the Great Western Hospital by ambulance. It is believed the car driver wasn't injured.”
