WELL, it may not actually be hot yet but we are going to have to admit to ourselves and each other that this is the summer and we really can’t wait any longer for a decent barbecue, writes market manager KERDIEN GERBRANDS.

What a good job for us that Hinton Marsh Farm have a supply of some of the tastiest meat available anywhere and that they too have decided if they don’t make up their specialist marinated barbecue packs now then they might find the summer has passed us by.

Their sausages are legendary. Is there a tastier sausage than one of theirs?

The range includes great flavours like Olde English, pork and leek and rosemary and garlic, as well as the seasonal flavours pork and asparagus and pork and redcurrant.

They have a wide range of marinated barbecue cuts, with this week’s main theme being Moroccan spiced lamb kebabs and Moroccan spiced pork chops.

If that doesn’t get your saliva glands going then perhaps you’d prefer a more traditional sizzle in the form of succulent, juicy steaks, ribs and award-winning burgers. My kids swear they have never eaten better!

You can find Hinton Marsh Farm’s stall every week at the Sunday Farmers' Market at the Designer Outlet and at the Wanborough Village hall market once a month on the third Saturday.
