VISITORS will be all shook up when they visit the Masonic Lodge this evening when an impersonator of The King puts on a charity show.

The Elvis Tribute night will take place at the venue in The Plans in aid of Gorse Hill charity, the Open Door Centre.

The performance will start at 7.30pm, and will feature wild and exciting performances from Elvis tribute act, Bobby B.

He will also be joined by performances from the Bobby Allan duo and Karah. Tickets cost £6.50.

Alma Welby, who has helped to organise the event, said: “It should be a fabulous evening and the money will go towards supporting the Open Door Centre.”

Open Door Centre works with adults with learning disabilities and aims to provide an accepting and empowering environment for all users.

It encourages members to feel unique and wanted, as well as providing choice and positive opportunities for personal development.

The centre also encourages members to take personal responsibility for their own lives, provide support on a practical and personal level, support members in making and implementing important decisions regarding their health, employment or accommodation, encourages them to develop social networks for their own support, and provides opportunities to be involved in decision making about the charity.
