A man has been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated criminal damage following an incident in Wroughton.
Between 1am and 8am on Wednesday swastikas were painted on cars and a bus stop in Wharf Road and Edgar Row Close.
A 29-year-old man from Swindon has been arrested and released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident and would like to hear from anybody who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time.
