Clare Butcher, manager at Casa de Pico in Royal Wootton Bassett
Do you cook a lot yourself? What is your failsafe dish?
I try to as often as possible. I am a Yorkshire lass so love making a good roast.
Where do you like to eat out? How often?
I adore The Vine Tree at Norton and eat there on a regular basis.
What do you always hope to find on a menu? For starter? Main course? Dessert?
Starter would have to be a goat’s cheese tart, main course a good cut of steak and for pudding ice cream.
Which foods did you hate as a child? Do you eat them now?
Olives! I love them now.
What is your favourite drink? Alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Alcoholic - my weakness has to be a good Champagne. A soft drink would be Coca Cola.
Marmite: yes or no?
Yes.
What is your guilty pleasure when it comes to food... something you know you shouldn’t eat, but do anyway?
Marrow bone and toast.
You are on your own at home watching a film. What is you snack of choice?
A cup of Yorkshire tea with some plain Hobnobs.
You’re eating a bacon sandwich...ketchup, brown sauce or nothing at all?
Brown sauce.
